Our multiple listing service (MLS) is a service used by a both Member and Introducer estate agents who work together allowing each other to see group listings of property for sale. Under this agreement, both the listing and selling agent benefit by consolidating and sharing information, and by sharing commissions.
History of Multiple Listing Services
MLS allows brokers to network easily. The concept is more than a century old in the USA. In the UK, the majority of instructions during the 1960’s to 1980’s were multiple agency. It was very common for agents to share commission majority of the time.
